Below are a number of links to others in our Network, or individuals and businesses that have provided encouragement, inspiration or motivation at just the right moment. We have created this section on our website to thank them and to give them a positive punt so to speak. We would like to see them succeed and whilst this does not serve as a recommendation or vouching for their services, they are the people that we would go to for the specific products or services that they offer or a bit of advice, we hope that you you do the same.
This list is not an all inclusive, could and should be far longer. Family members have been excluded as this isn’t an “Oscar” or rewards ceremony speech. We are of course very grateful to all friends and family for their support.
In keeping with The Crazy Accountant’s nature of being a bit different, we have not shied away from listing potential competitors, their courage to branch out themselves and provide encouragement to others to do the same, should be applauded and recognised. Besides which The Crazy Accountant believes that our end goals are somewhat different.
From a Country Far Far away
Now this is a bit odd, a family business, based in the USA? We do not know one another and have never met, however they provided inspiration by doing something a bit different and quite brave.
We came across this YouTube Channel called Samcraft, when researching business ideas, this chap Sam, seemed like a decent bloke, providing advice on CNC machining, Laser Engraving (We were looking for a bright spark to ignite a few ideas), providing practical business and DIY advice. After discovering Samcraft, we noted another channel GreenAcreHomestead and their on-line store, it turned out that the family were running 2 small businesses, in addition to creating YouTube content after leaving the Corporate world. They appear to be decent hard working folk and deserve a “shout out” for their efforts and hard work.
Young ladies
These young ladies decided to branch out of the traditional Corporate world and start their own businesses.
Roben Bezuidenhout with AlFaten (Pty) Ltd, stepped out in style, Felicia Goss trotted off with a family business and later moved out of large Corporate, Veronique-Chantelle Mew took a calculated chance and has just gone to new lengths. Bridy Paxton took an assured step to weave a different story.
Young gentlemen
These young gentlemen decided to branch out of the traditional Corporate world and start their own businesses, or have provided encouragement.
Gregory Shaw was the first out of the blocks with his “Awesim” idea, Carl Harris made a “Signature” move and Robert Cliff took the leap. Gavin Welsh provided the constructive practical encouragement at just the right time. The always entrepreneurial Shaun Harrison and the Bailey brothers Sheldon and Nathan, have always provided encouragement and support.
Stylish
Given that I am “fashion and follicly challenged (“Hair today, gone tomorrow”), this may appear out of place and yet it is not. The Zerfs have been stylishly cutting and shaping an entrepreneurial path for some time, looking younger and younger as time passes.
